A Taste of Goodwin Celebrates Diversity

Goodwin College’s Intercultural Inclusivity Committee, Community Engagement Committee, and the East Hartford Public Library are collaborating to present A Taste of Goodwin on Wednesday, June 10, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the main campus building, One Riverside Drive in East Hartford. The event is designed to celebrate —  through food — the many cultures that make up the Goodwin community and to encourage dialogue on social issues that have shaped our lives. Tickets gain access to sampling tables representing 10 area restaurants. Tickets are on sale in the main lobby through the day of the event. Students $10, general $15; after May 16, students $15, general $20. Food trucks will also be on campus that day (not included in cost of ticket). Two screenings of the movie Selma will be shown at 1 and 6 p.m. in partnership with the East Hartford Public Library. Admission to the movie is free of charge, but donations will be accepted to support student programming. Download flyer for more information or contact Marrie Ayub at maub@goodwin.edu.
